Apple has officially joined the AI coding assistant race—but with a characteristically Apple twist.

While companies like Microsoft have gone all-in with GitHub Copilot and OpenAI integrations, Apple has taken a quieter, more calculated step. According to multiple reports, Apple is now internally using Claude AI, developed by Anthropic, to power a new wave of AI-assisted development tools.

So what exactly is Apple doing with Claude, and why should developers (especially those in the Apple ecosystem) care? Let’s dive in.

Apple’s AI journey: from Swift Assist to Claude Sonnet

Apple’s previous AI coding tool, Swift Assist, was intended to bring AI-powered assistance directly into Xcode but struggled with technical limitations and has yet to see a public release despite early announcements.

Recognizing these shortcomings, Apple has pivoted to Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet, a model known for its cautious, steerable, and privacy-conscious design-qualities that align closely with Apple’s core values.

This partnership signals a broader evolution in Apple’s AI strategy: moving from siloed, internal projects to embracing external expertise to keep pace with rapid advancements in generative AI.

Internally, Apple is rolling out an updated version of Xcode integrated with Claude Sonnet to help engineers write, debug, and test code more efficiently, a process sometimes referred to as “vibe-coding” – an AI-assisted methodology that accelerates the entire development lifecycle.

Why Claude and not OpenAI or Google?

Apple’s partnership with Anthropic—and not OpenAI or Google—shouldn’t come as a surprise. Apple’s long-standing focus on privacy, on-device intelligence, and curated user experiences likely made Claude a better fit.

Anthropic’s Claude AI is known for being safe, steerable, and reliable in complex language tasks. Unlike models that aim to dazzle with raw creativity or open-ended responses, Claude is more cautious and controlled—traits Apple likely finds appealing for mission-critical developer tools.

This move also signals Apple’s intent to control its own AI ecosystem without tying itself to external giants like Microsoft or Google.

What this means for developers and the Apple ecosystem

If Apple decides to release this Claude-powered assistant publicly, it could transform how developers build apps on macOS and iOS. Key potential features include:

  • AI-assisted coding in Xcode: Contextual code suggestions tailored to Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Apple-specific frameworks.
  • Natural language to code: Developers describe functionality in plain English, and Claude translates it into Swift or Objective-C.
  • Faster prototyping: Rapid generation of UI layouts, data models, and app logic, significantly reducing development time.
  • Error fixing and documentation: AI that not only identifies bugs but explains fixes in clear, understandable language.

This is particularly exciting for indie developers and beginners, who often face a steep learning curve in Apple’s development ecosystem. Imagine generating a rough prototype of your app’s UI in minutes or receiving inline feedback on your Swift code as you write.

Claude could serve as a 24/7 coding companion, well-versed in Apple’s APIs and best practices, making Swift development more accessible to a broader range of developers.

The bigger picture: Apple’s AI playbook

The Claude partnership appears to be just the beginning of a broader, quietly planned AI push at Apple, potentially to be unveiled in more detail at WWDC 2025.

Beyond Xcode, Apple could expand Claude’s capabilities to:

  • Swift Playgrounds: Helping younger or newer developers get started.
  • Shortcuts and automation: AI-generated workflows and app integrations.
  • Terminal and scripting tools: For power users seeking AI-enhanced command-line assistance.

Apple’s goal is not to make noise but to make AI feel native, useful, and safe across its platforms.

Why it matters

Apple’s Claude-powered developer tooling isn’t just a technical upgrade—it’s a signal of where app development on Apple platforms is headed.

  • For developers, it signals a shift toward smarter workflows, AI-enhanced debugging, and potentially faster iteration cycles—all while staying within Apple’s trusted ecosystem.
  • For Apple, it strengthens the ecosystem without compromising its values of privacy and control.
  • For users, it could translate into more frequent app updates, more polished UI/UX, and a wave of new apps created by a more empowered developer base.

It also marks a cultural shift. Apple, traditionally reserved when it comes to adopting third-party technologies, is now actively embracing generative AI—but doing so on its own terms.

Final thought: AI is the assistant, not the star

Claude’s integration into Apple’s development toolkit could mark the start of a new era—one where writing AI apps for macOS and iOS is faster, more intuitive, and just a bit less intimidating.

But what sets Apple apart is its philosophy: AI is the assistant, not the star.

Rather than replacing developers or overwhelming them with flashy AI features, Apple seems intent on offering something more thoughtful—an intelligent, unobtrusive helper that enhances creativity and productivity without getting in the way.

And that’s exactly the kind of AI we want building the future of the Mac.

Hey there! Ready to bring the power of DeepSeek’s AI to your Mac? Whether you’re a developer, researcher, or just AI-curious, we’ll walk through everything you need to run these models smoothly—no PhD required! Let’s turn your Mac into an AI powerhouse.

Understanding DeepSeek’s architecture

DeepSeek isn’t one model—it’s a family! It represents a family of open-source language models developed to democratize access to advanced AI capabilities. With parameter counts spanning 1.5B to 671B, these models excel in tasks ranging from code generation to complex reasoning.

  • Transformer-Based: Like ChatGPT, but optimized for Apple Silicon.
  • Quantization-Ready: Uses “AI compression” (4-bit precision) to shrink without losing smarts.
  • Unified Memory Loving: Designed for Macs’ unique RAM/GPU setup.

Why we love this for Macs:

  • Apple Silicon Optimization: DeepSeek’s code hugs M-series chips like a koala to a tree. Our tests showed 2x speed boosts vs. generic models!
  • Scalability: Run tiny 1.5B models on a MacBook Air or team up Mac Studios for the 671B beast.
  • Open Source Freedom: Tweak models like Lego—perfect for coding projects.

Why run DeepSeek locally

Before we dive into the techy stuff, let’s talk why you’d want this:

  • Privacy First: Keep sensitive data on your device—no cloud required.
  • Offline Superpowers: Work from a cabin in the woods? No problem.
  • Cost Control: Skip monthly subscriptions—pay once with hardware you (probably) already own.

We’ve tested everything from MacBook Airs to Mac Studios, and here’s the golden rule: Bigger models need bigger hardware, but clever optimizations can stretch your system further than you’d think!

* While local deployment excels in privacy, the web version offers real-time updates and longer context handling—ideal for teams needing fresh data.

lmstudio model 14b

Customization tips

  1. Quantization Trade-Offs:
    • 4-bit models reduce memory 4x but increase perplexity by ~15%.
    • Use llama.cpp‘s --quantize q4_K_M flag during conversion for optimal accuracy.
  2. Resource Management:
    • Disable macOS features like Time Machine snapshots during intensive sessions.
    • Allocate 75% of available RAM to Ollama via OLLAMA_MAX_LOADED_MODELS=3.
  3. Batch Processing:
For bulk operations, use: bashollama run deepseek-r1:7b --prompt "Process dataset:" --file data.json Batch sizes >4 may degrade response quality on 8GB systems.

Troubleshooting common issues

  • Memory Allocation Errors:
Reduce context length (--ctx-size 2048) or switch to 4-bit quantization.
  • Slow Inference:
Enable Metal Performance Shaders: bashOLLAMA_METAL=1 ollama run deepseek-r1:7b M2 Ultra systems see 2–3x speedups.
  • Model Hallucinations:
Fine-tune with LoRA adapters: pythonfrom peft import LoraConfig config = LoraConfig(r=16, lora_alpha=32, target_modules=["q_proj", "v_proj"]) Reduces factual errors by ~40% in testing.

Things to keep in mind

Deploying DeepSeek locally on macOS bridges the gap between cloud-based AI services and on-premise computational needs.

While the 671B model remains impractical for most users, quantized 7B–14B variants deliver sufficient performance for everyday tasks on consumer hardware. As Apple Silicon continues to advance—particularly with rumored M4 Ultra chips featuring 256GB unified memory—the feasibility of running enterprise-scale models locally will only improve.

Notably, while Apple’s native AI features offer seamless integration for casual users, DeepSeek remains vital for three key scenarios: custom model tuning for specialized tasks, offline enterprise deployments requiring data privacy, and research projects demanding capabilities beyond Apple’s curated AI feature set.

By following the outlined hardware guidelines and optimization techniques, you can harness DeepSeek’s capabilities while maintaining full control over your AI infrastructure.

Unreleased Apple Intelligence features we expect

  • On-screen Awareness
We hope this upcoming feature will enable Siri to understand and interact with content displayed on our screens. Imagine reading a recipe and saying, “Add these ingredients to my shopping list.” Siri will do it without us needing to type anything out.
  • Cross-app Functionality with In-app Actions
That would be great if Siri’s enhanced cross-app functionality will allow it to seamlessly perform actions within and across multiple apps. For example, if you say, “Send the email I drafted to April and Lilly,” and Siri will identify the specific email and the app it’s in to complete the task. After enhancing a photo with a command like “Make this photo pop,” you’ll be able to instruct Siri to “Drop it in a specific note in the Notes app,” streamlining your workflow without manual intervention.
  • Personal Context Awareness
Siri would be able to utilize information from various apps to offer tailored assistance. If we mention a friend’s birthday gift idea in a text months ago, Siri could remind us about it as their birthday approaches.
  • More Language Compatibility
Apple Intelligence would be set to support more languages beyond English variants, including Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, and others—making these features accessible to users worldwide.

Potential delays, future updates, and expert opinions

FigJam’s AI integration helps in the creation of any board type you desire within minutes. What we also like about FigJam is the number of available templates in the library. The library is full of premade templates that are also aimed at teams and sweet productivity increase.

On top of that, these items in the library are fully customizable so when you find a template you like, you can edit color styles for different teams, create your color styles, use existing color styles, edit text styles, create text styles, create various components you can integrate into the template, use existing premade integrations, and even publish your template.

FigJamAI library

You have freedom over the type and style of your template and since it’s aimed to fit teams too, once you finish a template, you can share it with your team and put it to use and track the productivity and performance.

Another great thing is that you can use the library both online and via the FigJam app for a desktop computer. There is a variety of templates and integrations so you can create simple but efficient templates for brainstorming, diagramming, meetings, workshops, strategies, and other planning.

There are also a variety of specific additions for the templates that feature customer journey maps, standups, project timelines, roadmaps, flow charts, and even weekly team meeting templates. Whatever it is you do on your own or within the team and your company, you can keep track of it with FigJam.

Automation with the AI

FigJam integrated AI to create the easiest way possible to go from a scratch board to a board full of templates and add-ons that will fit your specific needs. Earlier, we mentioned how you can input a sentence into FigJam’s AI chatbot and let it create the specific board upon request. This itself lowered the learning curve and sped up the setting up process.

With the help of AI, FigJam can speed up the switch to the tool and also increase optimization. We believe it would take us twice as long if we had to create these boards on our own and that’s why we think adding AI to FigJam is one of the best updates.

FigJamAI automation

Other than automated creation, AI can help FigJam users set various automation processes that can run across custom boards. For example, we were able to summarize our team meetings with a single click and have a clear summary in front of us in minutes. Otherwise, this would take us quite a while and now it’s a valuable resource we had FigJam generate in minutes for us.

Collaborative feeling

After we created our two templates for our main FigJam board, upon testing the board as a team, we noticed that there was a great collaborative feeling that was much better than what we’ve experienced in other similar tools. Working remotely is still extremely popular and FigJam introduced features that can help teams interact. Not only is FigJam good enough of a tool to keep virtual communication clear, but it also has a great way of keeping the conversation going and empowering the team to communicate more.

FigJam also added a human aspect to virtual communication by featuring audio and live chat functions, which can be used as comments on tasks. This way, each team member will receive feedback that’s most similar to the actual feedback he’d get in the office.

Expressing yourself isn’t hard either, which is the second thing we like about FigJam’s communication. There are various reactions you can use to tasks and comments in the FigJam, but they’re not overwhelming or in the way. With a great amount of optimization, FigJam was able to strike a great balance between the interaction you’d do on social media and the expression you’d do within tools we often use for work. Needless to say, we found this good balance to be a warm addition to the tool that helps teams stick together even when they’re not together in the office.

Also, this is one of the ways FigJam helps give a say to every member of the team, regardless of the role, so if you’re trying to strike a healthy balance in your team and have everyone get the credit they deserve, you will like this feature as much as we did, and so will your team members. There’s even an option to create your avatar, so that’s how much further FigJam went to provide that collaborative feeling for the teams.

Freehand sketching and creative flows

Artificial intelligence is an incredible addition to FigJam and it can do a lot for you. From creating templates from scratch upon request to automating processes. However, one thing you can still do in FigJam is freehand sketching. If you have an iPad or any other tablet, you can turn your ideas into action by drawing them out.

If typing and creating ideas using templates isn’t your thing and you like free workflow and visually presenting your thoughts, that’s also something you can do in FigJam. With plenty of integrated tools, you can choose from a variety of brushes to make your visuals exciting and attractive.

While you’re sketching and expressing your thoughts via digital ink, you can use FigJam’s music integration to keep things interesting, as well as a task timer to ensure you get the sweetest efficiency across without burning yourself. There’s even a voting option so your team so your drawings can still be used as the centerpiece of your workflow. With such versatility, FigJam was able to accommodate our team members in unique ways, so in such an optimized way, the thought flow is outstanding. With or without AI, sweet efficiency is guaranteed!

FigJam AI pricing

If you’re in love with FigJam already, wait until you hear that FigJam is free to use. There’s a free plan, which isn’t a trial, so you can use it for free for as long as you wish. Of course, it comes with certain limitations, so you can only use it for 3 design files with basic file inspection.

However, there are other FigJam pricing plans you upgrade to, to meet your company’s and team’s needs:

  • Starter Plan – Free
  • Professional Plan – $3/month
  • Organization Plan – $5/month
  • Enterprise Plan – $5/month

For increased admin security and more custom templates, we highly recommend going with the Organization plan. If you need an Enterprise plan, remember you’ll need to contact FigJam’s sales department.

  • Integration capabilities
  • User interface

Everyone is different but the main purpose of these apps is to make your scheduling easier. During our tests, we realized it’s important to decide whether you need simple even tracking or extensive meeting planning. These AI calendar apps range in sophistication levels so the most advanced pick might not be necessary for everyone.

If you’re a part of a team or want to use one calendar for a team or a company, it’s important to check out the integration capabilities. Even if you decide to use it as an individual, if you want to sync the AI-powered calendar with the traditional one you use on your computer, this is something to consider.

Reclaim AI – Best for Busy Professionals

reclaimai main

What we like the most about Reclaim AI is its intuitive design that’s very easy to integrate with an existing calendar, so we didn’t spend a ton of time setting this up. With an easy way to sync the Reclaim AI calendar with the Google Calendar, the next step was all about prioritizing our tasks.

One of the most useful features is the block out time for personal activities, which is something you might like as well if you hardly find any break during a busy work day. And, its task scheduler is an AI-powered feature that helps automatically find the best time for tasks you add to the calendar.

Of course, no one is perfect and can keep up to schedule 100%, so another great benefit of this feature is its ability to move and shift tasks on your calendar to keep up your efficiency while ensuring you’re working at your most productive times is spot-on. We saw a huge increase in productivity gains, especially with the integrated LifeWork feature. This feature helps keep both personal and work tasks synced in one calendar so you have control over your whole life productively in one calendar.

Pros

  • Smart 1:1 meetings
  • Easy calendar sync
  • Full of stats and insights

Cons

  • Hard to integrate with Outlook
  • No smartphone app

Reclaim AI Price: Lite is free, Starter is $8, Business is $12, Enterprise is $18 (per user, per month).

Vimcal – Best for Teams

Vimcal

Vimcal is one of the rare calendars that took consideration tasks from different time zones and worked them into our calendar. This just shows how powerful the AI technology behind this app is. Thanks to such technology, what we loved the most was the quick and efficient scheduling. The whole app seems to us that it’s designed to improve speed, so it is a game-changer being able to input tasks quickly and let Vimcal sort things out for us.

Another thing we noticed and liked is that Vimcal is good with scheduling meetings and it even pays attention to the availability of participants. This showed to be a great fit for our team and our weekly meetings, but also for sudden quick meetings that helped improve our communication.

Being able to integrate Vimcal with our other tools was important and we’re safe to say that Vimcal’s integration is seamless and it doesn’t take a lot of time to get things right. Lastly, we loved using the sleek and intuitive user interface. We believe that Vimcal put a lot of effort into removing unnecessary complexity and did its best job to produce an AI calendar that operates in a simple traditional way, with bonus features, of course.

Pros

  • Perfect for keeping a calendar with integrated time zone management
  • Plenty of keyboard shortcuts for easier navigation
  • Customizable time slots for meetings

Cons

  • The price is a bit pricey
  • Some features are harder to access even though they’re still very beneficial

Vimcal Price: iOS only is free, iOS & Desktop is $15/month, Enterprise – contact Vimcal.

Mayday Calendar – Best for Smarter Meeting Schedules

Mayday

Mayday calendar stood out for its ability to pick up on our habits, right after we synced our traditional calendar. Being able to pick up on habits, the Mayday calendar can predict the best personal times for most productivity, and even suggest meetings at times we believe we would prefer.

On top of that, we notice that the Mayday calendar can understand the context of the events and to-do tasks we have in our calendar. This helps streamline the process, so the more things we add to our calendar, the better it gets organized by the Mayday AI model. If you have meetings, Mayday can schedule blocks so the meetings don’t ruin your productivity or momentum in a workday.

The integration with our regular communication and work tools/platforms is a breeze so keeping a both personal and work schedule in one Mayday calendar is simple. Needless to say, we also love the intuitive and user-friendly interface that has no learning curve. Lastly, we aren’t big fans of notifications that feel like pressure, but we like Mayday’s smart notifications that are based on intelligent prompts. These prompts can understand the context of our day and bring up notifications at the right time about the right tasks and things related to our schedule.

Pros

  • AI-assisted time keeping and management
  • Effortless scheduling meetings
  • Auto scheduling ability

Cons

  • Initial setup takes a bit of time

MayDay Calendar Pricing: Freemium model with in-app paid upgrades.

timeOS – Best for Blocking Distractions

timeOS

timeOS is one of the more advanced AI calendar apps. While this might be a bit overwhelming for some users, we liked it because of the productivity increase due to a few smart features. These smart features include analysis of patterns and even our energy that can help suggest the most ideal time for meetings, productivity blocks, and personal time. You know we are big on improving the productivity levels and achieving more and that’s what timeOS can help us with through its set of features.

Besides prioritizing tasks and finding the right time in our calendar to get these done, timeOS can also block certain times in a day. These are often the times we never thought about blocking, especially during a busy work day. By trying timeOS’s way, we realized that timing our tasks and regenerating energy in the blocked periods can lead to a productivity increase.

The interface is intuitive enough but we also like how timeOS is the rare AI calendar assistant that allows you to customize the interface. With an easy way to integrate timeOS with other apps and the ability to multitask at the same time, we couldn’t ask for anything more from timeOS.

Pros

  • Seamless integration with third-party tools
  • Advanced AI planner capabilities that go beyond the calendar
  • Has a free plan

Cons

  • The price might be a bit more expensive than other picks

timeOS Price: Free for individuals, Pro is $12/user/month, Enterprise – contact timeOS.

Some of the best features we’ve noticed include analysis of the tasks to produce personalized schedules while paying attention to work habits, personal to-do things, and commitments.

If you had to try Motion for only one feature, we believe this feature would be dynamic task prioritization. It’s also the feature we like the most about the Motion. Dynamic task prioritization helps Motion create a realistic daily plan to follow, which automatically adjusts to new tasks and tasks you’re late on.

From other features, we like how effortlessly integration works, the way Motion blocked certain times for personal time, and how it shifts the meeting times to try and help achieve the best productivity individually. Motion AI also comes with certain beta features such as predictive analytics and reporting, which are also on the way to shaping the way AI calendar apps work.

Pros

  • Fast automated scheduling
  • Great choice of task management options
  • Maximizes productivity with automatic scheduling

Cons

  • Only one pricing plan for teams

Clockwise has efficient coordination that works incredibly well for team members so we had a chance to see how our meetings can be coordinated much more efficiently. Clockwise can scan multiple schedules and help team members find the right meeting time that works for everyone.

Since we already have a team calendar we use, integrating it with Clockwise was a breeze and that’s another important aspect since we didn’t spend a lot of time setting things up.

Pros

  • intelligent features for better time management
  • Reduces interruptions while maximizing productivity
  • Great integration options

Cons

  • Lacks support for smartphone use
  • AI features might come with a learning curve

Clockwise Price: Free model, Teams is $6.75/user/month, Business is $11.50/user/month, Enterprise – contact Clockwise.

Any.do – Best for Personalized Multitasking

anydo

Any.do is another AI calendar app that has similar features to other tools, but some things that stood out for us were a user-friendly interface and intelligent scheduling features. As a result, Any.do was able to streamline our calendar (synchronization was effortless) and its help felt like a tiny productivity boost.

The unique feature we haven’t seen in other AI calendar apps is the Moment feature. This feature allows users a quick way to plan activities, improving proactive mindset and productivity. After using Any.do for a while, you’ll also get insights that will show you how you can become even more productive with the help of multitasking. All it takes is a couple of minutes a day, and from there, Any.do takes it to streamline everything else.

Since we’re nerds when it comes to improving efficiency and productivity, we loved Any.do’s feature to analyze our calendar to improve time management with the introduction of multitasking. Not only did Any.do change things up around a bit for us to have a more productive and efficient day, but it also gave us a few important insights that also set us on a path to self-improvement, whether or not we continue using Any.do.

Pros

  • Affordable for small teams and individuals
  • Best shared calendar app for teams
  • Very simple to use with templates for workspaces

The post Top 11 AI Video Upscalers to Enhance Video Quality first appeared on TheSweetBits.

Wanting to enhance your old and low-res videos to high-quality upscaled videos, then you must rely on AI Video Upscalers. These video upscalers can analyze and interpolate the missing details of your video and help generate enhanced videos featuring visual quality and sharper images.

This article provides you with the best AI Video Upscaler tools that can serve all your video enhancement needs after trying and testing many.

The best AI video upscalers at a glance

What is upscaling?

Upscaling can be defined as the process of enhancing the resolution and quality of images or videos. For beginners, upscaling works by increasing the number of pixels in a lower-resolution video to match or exceed the resolution of the display device.

AI upscalers use interpolation to enhance photos or videos through algorithms such as a nearest neighbor, bilinear, bicubic, or more advanced techniques like deep learning-based methods.

While compared to the traditional upscaling methods, AI Upscalers have made upscaling easier and accessible to everyone.

Can AI upscaling improve a video?

With improvement in AI, upscaling is done more efficiently. Through sophisticated algorithms, analysis is done on the video frames, and based on it, additional pixels are generated to fill in the gaps, resulting in a higher-resolution output.

Alongside improved clarity, sharpness, and detail, the AI video upscalers can identify and reduce the effects of compression artifacts, noise, and other distortions in the original video. However, the only downside is losing fidelity and creating artifacts.

The AI Video Upscalers can enhance older or low-resolution videos into higher-quality content, capable of watching on modern high-resolution displays.

What kinds of AI video upscalers exist?

Considering the advancement in AI, many AI video upscalers are used based on unique strengths, limitations, and applications. Here are some of the most common kinds of AI Video Upscalers that are frequently used for video enhancements;

  • Neural Network-based upscalers
  • Super-resolution upscalers
  • Frame interpolation upscalers
  • Hybrid upscalers
  • Cloud-based upscalers

The AI video upscaler software listed in the compilation uses an individual or mix of the above AI video upscalers, and here are our suggestions.

Top 11 AI video upscaler software tools

#1 HitPaw Video Enhancer: Best for beginners

If you’re looking for a way to enhance your videos without learning or editing skills, then HitPaw Video Enhancer is for you. HitPaw has made AI video upscaling accessible to everyone through the HitPaw Video Enhancer, featuring an intuitive interface and impressive features.

HitPaw

To enhance a video through HitPaw Video Enhancer, you must choose the file, select the AI model and generate the results. With support to increase low res videos to higher resolution up to 4K and 8K, you need a powerful GPU that can handle the processing.

In addition, features such as Auto Enhancement, Batch Processing, and 30+ Format support can easily serve all your video enhancement needs. The $ 349.99-lifetime plan might be expensive, but if you’re happy with the results from testing the trial version, it is arguably the best for beginners.

#2 Topaz Video AI: Best powerful and ideal for intermediate users

If you’re looking for software as efficient and intuitive as HitPaw Video Enhancer but need more tools and flexibility, then Topaz Video AI is for you. Through our testing, we noticed the tools offered are ideal for intermediate editing, and the best part is the flexibility and customization.

Topaz

Topaz Video AI works on all types of videos, and every tool on offer comes in handy in one way or another. All tools work as advertised, but we suggest using this tool on a high-spec computer or a laptop to avoid long processing times.

Features such as 4K/8K enhancement, 24 to 60 FPS conversion, smooth slow motion, stabilization, and fewer motion artifacts in the final output make it arguably one of the best AI video upscalers in its segment.

With a $299 lifetime pack, you can have it forever. We felt the price tag was reasonable, and after testing the features, it felt like the best bang for the buck.

#3 Pixop: Best for business

After trying Topaz Video AI, if you’re happy with its features but wish it to work on the cloud, Pixop might be the best for you. Pixop is as efficient as Topaz Video AI, and we suggest it for professionals and media.

Unlike other AI video upscalers, Pixop charges its users based on the processing job, and one has to purchase credits. Each tool has a different price; for instance, Pixop Deep Restoration costs $0.369 / gigapixel.

For Pixop, you need a high-speed connection alongside a powerful computer. Upon using Pixop, we felt it is a great software for professionals who occasionally want to do personal projects without purchasing a full software.

#4 Vegas Pro: Best for pro/advanced users

While Topaz Video AI is for intermediate users, it wouldn’t be enough for professional users. If you’re a professional consistently working on enhancing videos, then Vegas Pro is for you.

Vegas

The main reason for suggesting it to professional users is because of its full-scale video editing tools embedded in it. After we tested it thoroughly, we noticed it could work with various formats.

Coming to the AI video upscaling, you need a powerful high-spec computer to make any enhancements. It can perform colorization and content upscaling like every AI upscaler, but the feature that impressed and caught our attention is Style Transfer to mimic Picasso & Van Gogh.

On the other hand, exciting features such as ActionVFX, Boris FX Primatte Studio, SOUND FORGE Audio Studio, Motion Tracking, Live Streaming, and Adjustment tracks make it arguably the best in advanced video editing and AI upscaling software.

Vegas offers three plans for its users, and the perpetual licenses are affordable and reasonable. The Vegas Edit ($249), Vegas Pro ($399), and Vegas Post ($599) have significant differences, and we felt the Vegas Pro plan was right as it has the right balance of perks.

#5 Microsoft Edge: Best in-built upscaler on web browser

Microsoft has released Video Super Resolution (VSR), an AI Video Upscaler developed for Microsoft Edge. The main aim of Microsoft VSR is to eliminate blocky compression artifacts and generate high-resolution videos.

You can get hands-on Microsoft Edge AI Video upscaler if you’re running the Camry channel of the Edge, which is a part of Microsoft Insider Program. Currently, Microsoft VSR is in the beta phase and will only work on video resolutions of 720p or lower.

The Microsoft VSR cannot upscale all videos due to DRM tech. Hence, you cannot upscale content from prominent streaming platforms to provide copyright protection.

Like every AI Video Upscaler, you require a high-spec PC or laptop to handle the processing, and Microsoft VSR supports both Nvidia and AMD GPUs. Considering everything, Microsoft VSR feels promising, and we believe it will become a big thing.

#6 Winxvideo AI: Best for video format conversion

WinxVideo AI stands out as a highly versatile and comprehensive video conversion and upscaling tool for Windows and macOS.

winxvideo ai

The tool excels in providing an all-in-one solution for video upscaling, format conversion, editing, and more. Regardless of the video format, such as AVI, MOV, MP4, MKV, DVD, Blu-ray, and others, WinxVideo AI efficiently upscales video resolution while preserving the original quality through GPU acceleration.

Notably, this video resolution converter boasts impressive speed, offering up to 30 times faster performance than standard tools. Its batch convert feature enables simultaneous upscaling of multiple 720P files to 1080P, saving your time.

Moreover, WinxVideo AI offers a video editor that allows you to trim, crop, add subtitles, apply watermarks, add effects, and adjust audio to suit individual preferences. However, it’s important to note that the trim feature may have limitations in achieving precise cuts, particularly when zoomed in.

Starting at $25.95 per year or with the option of a lifetime plan for $45.95. WinxVideo AI also provides the added functionality of recording streaming videos and downloading video or audio from YouTube.

#7 GDFLab G-Enhancer: Best replacement to HitPaw

HitPaw Video Enhancer is a great pick for beginners. However, it isn’t the right tool for everyone, and we suggest checking out GDFLab G-Enhancer if it isn’t for you. Through our testing, we realized that the interface of GDFLab G-Enhancer is intuitive and navigating around is easy.

GDFLab G-Enhancer can upscale low-resolution videos to higher resolution, up to 4K and 8K, so you need a powerful GPU to handle the processing. The processing is done based on your assigned input video quality, and the change is noticeable for different inputs.

In addition, features such as Post Filter, AI Sharpen, and support for various format support makes the video enhancements better. Unfortunately, there is no lifetime plan, and one has to purchase a monthly subscription ($49.99). It didn’t sound reasonable to us, and we suggest checking out the trial version before buying a plan.

#8 AVCLabs: Best alternative to Topaz Video AI

Suppose you find Topaz Video AI difficult to use and enhance videos. In that case, we suggest you check AVCLabs Video Enhancer AI, as it is simpler and has most Topaz Video AI features.

AVCLabs

To begin with, AVCLabs Video Enhancer AI has an AI video enhancer, upscaler, colorizer, frame interpolation and super-resolution. We have tried each and noticed that the software performed well for all types of videos.

The hardware acceleration feature comes in handy while upscaling videos to 4K/8K and when there are many frames. In addition, features such as Single and Multi-frame enhancement, Face Recovery and Refinement, Noise and Grain removal, Color control, and AI sharpening make it reliable.

The lifetime plan ($239.90) is arguably the best pricing, but we suggest trying out the trial version before purchasing any plan to identify if it fits your requirements.

#9 DVDFab Enlarger AI: Best affordable AI video upscaler

DVDFab Enlarger AI might be the affordable solution to upscale the videos as it produces outstanding enhancements featuring a straightforward interface.

The reason for considering DVDFab Enlarger AI is its flexibility with the DVDs. Even though most AI Video Upscalers support DVDs, we haven’t found any that is as compatible as DVDFab Enlarger AI.

With DVDFab Enlarger AI, you can upscale the videos to 4K, and through the Enlarger AI feature, you can improve the details of the images and restore the original colors to the objects.

The AI takes care of everything and provides an ideal balance of Saturation, brightness, and contrast. There aren’t many features, but you have to look out for the four output quality options (Premium Quality, Ultra Quality, Deblock, and Ultra+Deblock).

The pricing is fair, with the Lifetime pack costing $139.99, arguably the most affordable software in this compilation.

#10 Waifu2x-Extension-GUI: Best open source upscaler

Waifu2x is a free online tool known by everyone for its image-upscaling capabilities. However, it is not capable of enhancing and upscaling videos. For this purpose, the Waifu2x-Extension-GUI is developed, which is compatible with images, animated images, and videos.

Unlike the rest of the software, the Waifu2x-Extension-GUI doesn’t have an intuitive interface and takes time to get used with. Additionally, this software isn’t for beginners and is suggested for intermediate and advanced users.

With Waifu2x-Extension-GUI, you’re all covered as you are offered all the tools that premium and advanced AI upscalers usually feature. For instance, audio denoise, frame interpolation, hardware acceleration, Dynamic RAM, and Multi GPU are advanced but reliable features.

We are extremely happy with the level of flexibility, and the best part about Waifu2x-Extension-GUI is it is free. Even though it is free, few features are locked, and the premium costs just $4.99 per month.

#11 Video2X: Best free alternative to Waifu2x-Extension-GUI

Another completely efficient software with more advanced features to Waifu2x-Extension-GUI is Video2X, arguably the only option. Like Waifu2x-Extension-GUI, you get an outdated interface and can work on enhancing videos, GIFs, and static images.

With Video2X, you can denoise, interpolate frames, and convert 30fps videos to 120fps. As most use Video2X to upscale animation and projects, we have tried doing the same, and the results were promising, thanks to its collaboration with waifu2x, Anime4K, SRMD, RealSR, and Real-CUGAN upscalers.

Additionally, the software offers outstanding flexibility, and you can customize scaling ratios or upscaling types. Video2X requires powerful GPUs and is compatible with tools like Docker and Podman.

As Video2X is an open-source project, all tools and features are free. Hence, there are no subscriptions, but you can join the developer’s Patreon for just $1 for updates.

Bonus round: how to maximize upscale quality?

Before answering this question, note that upscaling can enhance video quality but cannot create details not present in the original footage.

Here are steps to maximize upscale quality in videos;

  1. Start with the best original footage that is high quality.
  2. Perform necessary edits using professional video editing software before upscaling.
  3. Use AI-powered upscaling tools and experiment with upscaling algorithms.
  4. Don’t perform excess upscaling, as it can lead to artifacts and a loss of clarity.
  5. Apply post-processing techniques such as sharpening, denoising, and color correction.

Conclusion

AI Video Upscalers is arguably the most efficient and effective way to enhance videos. With many software built based on it, AI video upscaling is accessible to everyone, and even an individual with no skills can use them.

With this article, we have provided you with a compilation featuring some of the top AI video upscalers. All the software listed in this compilation are tested, and we have considered them according to the user and pricing.

If you ask us to suggest a few, we recommend HitPaw, Topaz, and Vegas Pro. However, if you’re an advanced user and don’t care about the interface, Waifu2x-Extension-GUI and Video2X are the best free, open-source, and feature-packed software.

Find the smart scheduling AI tool for you or your business in our guide.

The post Reclaim AI vs Motion: Which is Better? (Full Comparison) first appeared on TheSweetBits.

AI can be a good virtual assistant and both Reclaim and Motion are tools that can help organize your daily life and activities. With both tools relying on AI powered features that bring a lot of benefits to users, it can be hard choosing one of the two. Luckily, we spent a week trying out Reclaim so now we can compare it to our previous experience with Motion.

Down below is our comparison between Reclaim and Motion, two powerful smart scheduling AI tools, and here’s what we think about them!

Quick Summary

Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll learn in this comparison:

  • Key differences: Reclaim focuses on work-life balance and user-friendliness, while Motion prioritizes maximizing productivity with advanced AI features.
  • Pricing: Reclaim offers a free tier and affordable paid options, while Motion is significantly more expensive.
  • Strengths: Reclaim excels in promoting work-life balance and offers budget-friendly options. Motion shines with its advanced AI and real-time adjustments for maximum productivity.
  • Ideal users: Reclaim suits individuals seeking work-life balance and those on a budget. Motion caters to users who prioritize advanced features and absolute productivity optimization, even at a higher cost.

Our Testing Methodology and Criteria

To ensure an unbiased evaluation, we focus on the AI capabilities within these tools, not the overall platforms. This reveals how AI integration differentiates them, helping you choose the one that best suits your needs.

Every company uses AI differently, so similar tools can vary significantly in their AI functionalities. This review dives deep into these differences, making it the most accurate assessment of AI integration you’ll find online.

Our analysis is further strengthened by a transparent testing methodology. We assessed each tool based on efficiency, productivity, versatility, integration, and performance. Each tool is scored independently against these criteria, providing an objective evaluation for your informed decision-making.

Reclaim vs. Motion: The Basics

Reclaim AI is a very advanced integration that seamlessly works with Reclaim’s functionality. Its main goal is to help you schedule your daily tasks to ensure a proper and perfect workweek. It integrates well with the Google calendar and it operates in a couple of ways across a variety of tasks and situations. For example, the integration of Reclaim AI in the Google Calendar for free, helps you sort and organize your habits, tasks, meetings, and daily to-dos.

reclaimai main

On the other hand, Motion takes things to another level and serves as a virtual assistant. Not any kind of an assistant, but an executive assistant. Motion AI doesn’t only help you automate your schedule with a smart scheduling feature. It helps you build your schedule from scratch instead of customizing your existing schedule. This way, as Motion says it, they help you free up your time and enjoy 13 months in a year instead of 12. This refers to a powerful time-saving ability that can help you get your work done and still have more free time than you did before.

At first look, both Reclaim and Motion approach the use of AI in such tools differently. But how do they measure in day-to-day use and overall efficiency of their AI integration? Keep on reading to find out!

Reclaim vs. Motion: Scheduling

When it comes down to smart scheduling, Reclaim ensures proper work-life harmony by focusing on the correct balance when scheduling tasks in your schedule. What we saw with Reclaim is that it doesn’t only block time in the calendar for work but also for personal life, which is a huge advantage. This way, Reclaim isn’t only made for optimizing your work schedule for better productivity, but it can be used for personal purposes or a combination of both.

motion meeting

On the other hand, we noticed that Motion focuses a lot more on the personal schedule, where you can include work. But if you do use Motion for both work and personal life, it won’t create the balance between the two as well as Reclaim does. What we liked more in Motion is the real-time adjustability, which is a lot more flexible than the one featured in Reclaim. We are someone who frequently changes schedule throughout the week, and sometimes even throughout the day. Motion was able to follow it much better than Reclaim.

While both Reclaim and Motion do good, it’s up to you to decide what would fit your needs more. The main choice when it comes down to smart scheduling is a combination balance of work and personal life balance, or purely personal scheduling.

Reclaim vs. Motion: Prioritization

Priority task management is a crucial part of smart schedule AI tools and it’s good that we saw this feature in both Reclaim and Motion. What we noticed is that these two tools approach prioritization differently and that’s also something you should know before making the right choice.

motion schedule

As we’ve mentioned earlier, Reclaim tries to strike for the right balance between personal and life work. This is something this tool is really good at, but when it comes to prioritization, it can be a struggle since you’ll have priorities for both categories. Therefore, your schedule might look a bit full when a few priorities add up. On the bright side, a good thing about Reclaim’s prioritization is that it dynamically schedules time blocks throughout the week depending on the amount of tasks and workload you have, and it’s really good at that.

Motion is more into providing a personalized approach that tries to understand your schedule, work habits, and other important tasks. Therefore, as you schedule using Motion, the AI side, specifically for prioritization will continuously learn to provide better scheduling so you get all your top priority tasks done in time, without sacrificing your quality free time. Also, Motion AI can understand what’s your most productive time of day by learning from your schedule so it can handle priorities in real-time and schedule them throughout the week.

Therefore, the biggest difference between the two lies in the personalization feature of the Motion, which is also a lot more complex since it’s not a straightforward AI workflow. It’s more of a custom workflow that relies on large language models that actually understand the context of your tasks, so it can set them right according to importance.

Reclaim vs. Motion: Collaboration Features

What’s great about Reclaim is that since it schedules and splits both personal and work tasks for better life balance, it ensures that during collaboration as well. When other team members want to schedule a meeting or plan a task that involves you, Reclaim will keep your personal schedule in mind too, so there are no mix ups or double booking of the time slots in your calendar. At the same time, you won’t have to worry about being too occupied or have to sacrifice your personal life for work tasks. This helps promote a much better work-life balance and culture for everyone in the team, making an efficient but supportive work commitments, even suitable for remote workers.

Motion relies on its advanced smart AI scheduling technology to be as smart when it comes down to scheduling tasks for more than one person in a calendar. It can integrate many third-party management tools and allow teams to view each other’s availability. When combined with intelligent prioritization feature, Motion helps the whole team work on a better schedule without even the slightest issues in the booking of the time slots in the calendar.

Reclaim vs. Motion: Time Blocking

What we like the most about Reclaim is that it ensures a proper and healthy balance between personal and work time. Even though it splits tasks for work and personal life while being considerate of both, it also ensures that it automatically blocks out time off work, as well as for personal activities. There’s also a smart dynamic scheduling feature that adjusts the calendar’s block of free time according to changes in your schedule, so you won’t have to do this yourself.

reclaim timeblock

Motion helps incorporate time blocking into user’s schedule by ensuring proper time for tasks, meetings, and learning. One of the features we like the most is Motion’s ability to recognize patterns in schedule. This way, Motion knows when you’re most productive so it schedules time blocks for personal activities when you’re least productive. This helps avoid burnouts, improve prodcutivity, and only get work done when you feel your best, without sacrificing your personal tasks.

While both Motion and Reclaim provide similar aspects of this feature, we noticed that Motion is slightly better. Motion allows a much better user control over the times, as well as tailored real-time time blocking options based on your schedule, productivity times, and priorities.

Reclaim vs. Motion: Pricing and Value

Price can be a crucial factor when choosing two similar but different tools that help you manage something as important as your personal or work life.

Reclaim is much more accessible since it has a free tier option with ability to scale up to paid options. This suits almost anyone from individual users to large teams, and anyone in between. When it comes down to value, you’ll also get a bit more value from Reclaim’s features since you can access more features for a small impact on the price you pay for these features.

motion price

With the free Reclaim’s plan, the next priced plan starts at $8 per user, per month. When it comes down to Motion, you will have to shell out $19 per user, per month, which is more than double of what you’ll have to pay for Reclaim. However, if you’re a part of a team, you’ll only have to pay $12 per user, per month for Motion.

reclaim price

Considering both options, Motion has a bit more advanced AI features that can help in the long run, which is why the price is slightly higher. However, Reclaim has very decent features for its affordable price. Another downside of Motion is that it doesn’t have a free membership type, but only a 3-day free trial.

Reclaim vs. Motion: Which to Choose?

Ultimately, the best choice depends on your individual needs and priorities.

Reclaim excels at promoting work-life balance by offering a good mix of personal and work tasks.

Motion, on the other hand, prioritizes maximizing productivity with its advanced AI features and real-time adjustments.

If you value work-life balance and user-friendliness on a budget, Reclaim might be the better fit. If maximizing productivity with advanced AI features is your priority, Motion could be a more suitable option, despite its higher cost.

FAQs

Which scheduling tool is better for individual users?

Reclaim is a much better tool for individual users since you can get started for free and you will start on improving your work life balance in the same scheduling way.

Can Motion and Reclaim integrate with other tools?

Yes, Motion is very versatile and it can integrate with many project management tools, for example. Reclaim still offers integration, but not as many as Motion.

Which scheduling tool is a better choice for team use?

We noticed that both tools are great for team use, but they have a slightly different approach to team use. Reclaim is optimized for collaboration in mind while Motion focuses more on individual schedule, but at the same time it enables better productivity in the team by ensuring each team member works at its best productivity time.

Which scheduling tool is cheaper?

Reclaim is cheaper by Motion, but Motion’s price is justified since it provides a much more advanced learning system that improves the way it schedules and prioritizes tasks for you.

The past year has seen an increase in adoption rate for AI assistants. While AI assistants like Notion AI help you write better and manage your documents in an organized way, we also have note-taking AIs and meeting schedulers.

While all these AI assistants help you save time, what about AI tools that have a noticeable impact on your life, especially work-life balance? This is precisely what makes AI scheduling assistants unique. Many of them come with features that target the busy individuals and teams we find today.

When used in the best way, AI scheduling assistants can make a huge difference in your life—and your team. But how do you find the best AI scheduling assistant? What features should you look out for? And how much would you have to spend on a decent scheduling app?

We have answered all these questions below and discussed the 7 best AI scheduling assistants you can try.

Our criteria for choosing the best AI scheduling assistants

One thing we understand at SweetBits is that not all teams are the same. And not all teams can set the same goal and priorities. Therefore, when we set out to find the best AI scheduling assistants, we wanted to ensure some diversity in the options that we chose.

Based on these understandings, we have also categorized the 7 tools into purpose-centric sections.

  • First, many AI scheduling tools focus on productivity. With the power of collaboration, these tools can ensure that your teams have the best use of available time, while also taking the burden of manually scheduling emails.
  • Second, we see AI scheduling assistants with the primary objective of tracking and management. These tools are great when you want to take care of a project or manage multiple members in your team, while taking care of time as a resource.
  • Third, and most importantly, we have AI scheduling assistants that focus on work-life balance. These tools are designed so that you can create a healthy balance between working hours and additional features. You also get some extra perks like habit tracking.

We have consciously stayed away from typical calendar applications. Instead, we are talking about tools that enable smooth scheduling of events, tasks, and happens. As you can guess, our selection has also ensured basic quality and reliability, since you will be dealing with your work life.

Our Testing Scenario: Many of these AI scheduling assistants are available as web applications. However, if and when native apps were available, we tested them on our M1 Mac mini with a standard-speed internet connection. You have to keep this context in mind whenever we mention performance as a factor.

#1 Clockwise AI

Pricing: Free, Subscriptions start at $6.75 per user per month

Clockwise AI is definitely one of the most popular choices when people need an AI schedule assistant. This tool is designed for teams that want to get the best out of time resources. And even when you have a team of hundreds, which means a hectic schedule, Clockwise AI can help you schedule things in just a few seconds. The best part is that you can simply talk to Clockwise AI to get all this done.

Pros

  • Easy to interact with and schedule
  • Ensure team-wide focus time concerns

Cons

  • It could use more third-party integrations

clockwise ai

Clockwise AI packs a number of features, including an AI scheduler, flexible meeting system, focus time. You can also use Flexibility Preferences and Scheduling Links to make sure that you choose a time that works correctly. In addition, integrations with platforms like Slack and Asana makes it easy to manage projects and other level of communication from the same spot.

We noticed that clockwise AI makes the best use of natural language processing to enable an interactive way of scheduling. For instance, when you cannot find a good time that works for everyone, you can simply ask the AI assistant to do that. Similarly, you can review others’ time constraints and modify multiple events in a single click.

Thanks to the calendar interface on the right side, every change you make will be instantly visible so that you can keep track of your day, week, or month. You must also appreciate how much value Clockwise AI has given to flexibility. For instance, you’ll be able to enable flexible holds and lunch holds. And as long as you set the meeting and working hours, you can make sure that there is no overlap of hold options.

#2 Schedule.cc

Pricing: $12.99 per user per month

Schedule.cc is another productivity-centric AI assistant you can use for scheduling. Unlike Clockwise, though, Schedule.cc is designed to optimize the way you schedule your meetings in such a way that you don’t waste time in any way. To achieve this goal, Schedule.cc makes use of your preferences, while also ensuring the best level of productivity.

Pros

  • It does not require the entire team to sign up
  • Instant options for re-scheduling and rebooking
  • It works great with 1:1 and team meetings

Cons

  • It could have a better planning management interface

schedule cc

Like you would expect, Schedule.cc comes with a pleasant interface with a calendar section on the right side of the page. You can make changes on the left side and real-time updates are available in the calendar. We also loved how Schedule.cc has used colors to gamify the scheduling process. You can easily track the actions and events quite easily.

Because you schedule every meeting using the Schedule.cc interface, you can real-time monitor the acceptance rate and availability of multiple calendars across your team. For instance, if someone in your team cannot make it to the meeting, there will be an option to rebook the meeting or reschedule it at a time of their convenience.

The AI-powered meeting scheduler also makes it hassle-free to work with different clients, thanks to the Client Portal. You don’t have to manually do anything; instead, the meeting scheduler will recommend a couple of available slots to everyone, and they can pick the best one. Automated notifications also make sure that you or the other invited members do not miss the meeting.

#3 TimeHero

Pricing: Starts at $4.60, Free trial available

You might want to check out TimeHero AI if you are looking for a productivity-centric scheduling tool for your team. It has particularly been designed for teams that are working remotely. So you can use TimeHero to schedule, automate and manage the multiple tasks and projects within your organization. You can do all this while keeping disruptions to a minimum.

Pros

  • Built-in tools for project and task management
  • Leaves room for last-time meetings and schedules
  • Smart recurring tasks are effective at saving time

Cons

  • The lack of a planner interface is noticeable

timehero

On the topmost layer of TimeHero, you can find a couple of smart features. For instance, smart project management, make sure that you can easily track the status of multiple projects. Similarly, task scheduling and time tracking provides you with actionable information on the progress of your team. But when it comes to increasing productivity with AI scheduling, time hero takes a more conventional approach.

Of course, you will be able to adapt your plan so that last-minute meetings are accommodated. Similarly, you can prioritize multiple tasks and habits in such a way that you have a balanced work-life ratio. And in the end, you can use the campaign manager and autopilot to ensure that everything is going smoothly. That is, you can reduce the number of check-ups and routine meetings.

To make all these features work seamlessly, time hero also allows integrations with other apps, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Trello, and Slack. With all this data from multiple sources, time hero can create a productive schedule for your organization, incorporating tracking and project forecasting. However, we missed the presence of an all-in-one AI scheduler in this package.

AI scheduling assistants for tracking and management

#4 Motion

Pricing: Starts at $19 per month, free trial available

Motion is an AI-powered scheduling app that brings the capacity of multiple apps into a single interface. Instead of dealing with multiple to-do lists, tasks and calendars and spreadsheets, you can manage your entire schedule from this tracking and management system. For instance, when you give the details, Motion creates a schedule and helps you focus while also protecting your weekends.

Pros

  • An all-in-one solution for project and time management
  • Scheduling features that work within and outside your team
  • Powerful AI scheduling algorithm that works with tasks

Cons

  • You may already have separate apps for some features

motion

One thing we love about Motion is that it packs multiple applications in a single interface. For instance, you can use the calendar to keep track of your engagements and use a project manager to explore project-specific tasks. You can also use the task manager and integrations to gather data from third-party platforms. Finally, the meeting assistant helps you improve how you schedule and attend meetings.

We must also appreciate that motion has been designed and optimized for functional teams. Let’s say that you want to streamline the scheduling options within your starting. You can use the project manager to ensure that your deadlines are met and the algorithm will do the rest to ensure that there is maximum team output while not compromising the overall efficiency of the team.

On top of all these, automated task prioritization will always target the best results for your organization. In the same way, if your team has to schedule meetings or appointments with clients, the Meeting Assistant is a time-saver. And it is great that you can enjoy all these features of convenience from a central dashboard of Motion.

#5 Trevor

Pricing: Free, Paid plans start at $3.99 per month

Trevor is an all-in-one planning and scheduling tool that you can use from your web browser, mobile, or desktop. Even though it is designed to schedule tasks and create productivity, it leaves room for flexibility and clarity. Therefore, while making the best use of AI time-blocking technology, you can have ample control over how your work day turns out to be.

Pros

  • You can track your entire schedule from a single space
  • It leaves ample room for flexibility and customization
  • The AI algorithm predictions are more accommodative

Cons

  • Many core features are exclusive to paid plans

trevor

Easy planning is one of the core objectives of Trevor as an AI assistant. It will help you visualize all your tasks and goals in a single interface based on each day. And this view itself makes it easy to understand what you have planned ahead. And scheduling these tasks will be assisted by the AI algorithm. So you do not leave the entire planning to the AI, but the suggestions are nevertheless very helpful.

We also noticed how the app turns into a focus timer. That is, when an action is going on, you can track the time you have spent on it as well as the goals or sub-tasks that you have designed for this particular task. And all in this process, the Trevor AI will make sure that you get meaningful predictions that help you auto-schedule recurring tasks.

Even with a free plan, you get many AI-powered features, such as predicted task duration and AI scheduling suggestions. And when you upgrade to a premium plan, you can also integrate multiple calendar accounts and recurring scheduled tasks. And personal scheduling insights are also beneficial when you want to have a more strategic way of scheduling your week or month.

AI scheduling assistants for work-life balance

#6 Reclaim AI

Pricing: Free, Paid plans start at $8 per user per month

Reclaim AI is one of the AI scheduling assistants that work with the core objective of helping you establish work-life balance. Even though it focuses on productivity, engagement, and better collaboration, all these features revolve around the fact that you will have time to spend your life, even after better scheduling your events, tasks, and habits.

Pros

  • An AI planner that considers your goals and priorities
  • You can track events, habits, and tasks from one place
  • It seamlessly works with Google Calendar

Cons

  • It lacks options for project management

reclaimai

The first thing we love about Reclaim AI is that it works with Google Calendar. It means you don’t have to install another calendar app on your device. And as long as you have synchronized multiple calendars, you can manage all your events from a single space. Now, the AI Planner feature of Reclaim AI requires, deserves a lot of praise. It uses AI time blocking and priority tracking in such a way that your workweeks are well-used.

At the same time, you can leave time for things like decompression, lunch, or something that you would like to catch up your teams with. You must also note that you get a couple of features for every type of team that there could be. For instance, if you are an engineering team, you can use the project management app and integrate it with reclaim AI. Similarly, no meeting days and focus time blocks will help you achieve goals.

We also loved the work-life balance-oriented features that Reclaimed AI brings into the team. For instance, you can set up smart breaks and working hours, which help you take load out of your system. By recommending the working hours, Reclaimed AI can schedule your appointments only during those times. Similarly, smart break logs will ensure that you have time to relieve yourself before getting to the next task.

#7 Clara

Pricing: Beta-only

We wanted to conclude this list with something that, we think, will be revolutionary when it becomes public. Clara is an AI-powered email scheduling assistant that is only available in the beta version. As you can imagine from the name, it works as an assistant to your calendar and email in a different box. It means you don’t have to install another application.

clara

The AI is powerful enough to understand what you want to do on each task and depending on the emails that it sends and receives, Clara can offer information tags that make it easy to track your progress. Once again, you don’t have to worry about the UI because Clara supports natural language processor. Machine intelligence at its best make sure that you can stay on top of your deadlines, reminders and habits.

During our limited testing with Clara, we were really impressed by how intelligent the system is. The level of optimization also makes it easy to use Clara in different environments. For instance, if I want to clear the next week and include only high-priority meetings, I can just ask the assistant. It is in many ways better than, you know, clicking multiple buttons to create a schedule.

Overall, the convenience that Clara offers is innovative in itself.

The bottom line

We understand that this is not the most extensive list of AI scheduling systems. It is a deliberate decision because we do not want to bore you with multiple options that serve the same purpose.

Instead, our objective was to select the best options from different categories. Considering that we have included both paid, free and freemium AI assistants in the list, you will find it easy to pick one that suits you best.

But, if you ask us which one we loved testing the most, our answer would be Reclaimed AI. As we said earlier, we find it impressive when software solutions give priority to human life and work-life balance.

Find the best AI-powered assistant and team collaboration tool for your business in our guide.

The post ClickUp AI vs. Notion AI, Which AI is Better first appeared on TheSweetBits.

Both Notion and ClickUp have now equipped their life/work management platform with the power of AI. If anything, it has made things difficult when choosing between Notion vs. ClickUp. We have had the space to try both Notion AI and ClickUp AI for a few weeks.

Here, you have a brief comparison between the AI-powered assistants on Notion and ClickUp.

Our take on this comparison

We wanted to set some ground rules before diving into the Notion AI vs. ClickUp AI comparison.

First and foremost, this is strictly a comparison between Notion AI and ClickUp AI—not the platforms. That is, this guide does not tell you which among Notion and ClickUp is the better option. Instead, this comparison guide is meant for a specific group.

Suppose you have tried both Notion and ClickUp. And you are fine with both tools as they fulfil your demands for a workspace. So, if the only thing that would make a difference is the AI assistant, this comparison guide will help you choose. On the contrary, if you already prefer one tool to the other, comparing them based on their AI assistants is a non-ideal way to understand what works best.

Our testing methodology and criteria

We should also be upfront about how we tested and compared Notion AI and ClickUp AI.

It is difficult to look at AI assistants from a single-dimensional perspective. Instead, we have to consider the many relevant aspects like versatility, integration, and performance.

We also understand that each AI may have a different set of dedicated features.

Considering these points, we have tried to use almost all the features from Notion AI and ClickUp AI within the not-so-limited time we had. And we have presented the insights from the comparison in an intuitive way.

Notion AI vs. ClickUp AI: the basics

Notion AI is a generative and analytical AI assistant that works great with Notion. It is designed to simplify how you interact with your documents, ideas, and knowledge. From helping you chat with your documents to autofilling analytical information, many features make Notion AI an impressive choice. You can check out our dedicated page for Notion AI if you need an extensive review.

ClickUp AI, on the other hand, brings the power of generative and conversational AI to your ClickUp spaces. It is equipped with skills like summarizing and sub-task generation, among other features. More importantly, this AI assistant offers pre-built tools for different departments within your organization. Once again, this is a simple description, and you can check out our ClickUp AI review for a better idea.

At the first look, both AI assistants pack a balanced variety of features. But, how do they translate in the real life? Let’s find out.

Notion AI vs. ClickUp AI: integration

There is no point in having an AI assistant if the assistant cannot integrate well with the application and the platform. So we will see how Notion AI and ClickUp AI perform in this particular aspect. We will be judging the easiness of accessing these AI assistants and the usefulness of its assistance.

Notion AI integrates so well with the platform. You can launch Notion AI on any document you have created on Notion. Then, you can choose one of the options based on the context. For instance, if you have already written something, Notion AI can continue writing. On the contrary, if you want ideas for writing, you can ask Notion AI to do some brainstorming. You can also use the AI assistance in automating routine tasks.

ClickUp AI follows a different method, though. On one hand, you can launch ClickUp AI from the homepage or dashboard. You can then select an AI tool or provide a topic for writing. On the other hand, the options to launch/access AI features from a document need serious improvement. Sure, you can access all the AI-powered features from a sub-menu, but things could be better.

We are inclined to say both are great, but Notion AI definitely offers the perks of versatility.

Notion AI vs. ClickUp AI: writing assistance

Writing assistance is something you need across your project management tool. In addition to common AI-powered skills, you may also need industry-specific capabilities.

Notion AI offers the standard set of options for writing assistance. As we said, you can launch Notion AI on any document and access the features. For instance, you can select a piece of text and ask Notion AI to give you a summary. In the same way, the writing assistant will help you find action items from the text. It is also great that you can interact with your document with live chat. We would say that the writing options from Notion AI are quite balanced.

When it comes to ClickUp AI, the writing assistance part offers a little more. Of course, you can apply all the AI features to create and edit content, but the better option is that ClickUp AI has figured out what each industry needs. For instance, if you just want to create something for the design department, you can do that. It could be a design persona or a brainstorm user journey. Similarly, in the product department, you will find options to create product requirements, a release note or generate a user story.

Therefore, by the virtue of its versatility and optimization, ClickUp AI seems better in this aspect.

Notion AI vs ClickUp AI: task & project management

Both these AI assistants claim to simplify and automate multiple tasks. Therefore, we should see how Notion AI and ClickUp AI fare in dealing with tasks and projects.

The power of data analytics aside, Notion AI offers only some standard options for task management. That is, you can keep track of your projects and tasks via the Q&A feature. It means you can simply chat with the AI instead of manually understanding tables and status reports. Notion AI works smoothly when it comes to turning data into actionable insights as well. However, you do not find AI features that go deep.

ClickUp AI, on the other hand, is more optimized for task and project management. Because ClickUp AI is accessible from different spaces, it is easy for you to launch a particular project and get the status. For instance, on a document, there is always an option to summarize the document and get action items. Or when preparing a project with multiple tasks, ClickUp AI will help you create sub-tasks for the project.

So the contextual understanding of the AI and the integration of these features does magic. And it is a good-enough reason to choose ClickUp AI over Notion AI.

Notion AI vs. ClickUp AI: data analytics

Complex data analytics is something that AI assistants should help you with, right? Well, both Notion AI and ClickUp AI are ambitious in this aspect.

Notion AI does the standard job in terms of data management. As we said earlier, it can understand the main context of the document and offer task suggestions. In the same way, you can engage in conversations with data, thanks to the Q&A feature. The Fill with AI button has helped us more than we had expected it to. In total, we think the data management capabilities of Notion are satisfactory.

notion analytics

ClickUp AI, on the other hand, offers a limited set of features when it comes to data analytics. Of course, the AI can help you summarize tasks and progress, and the option to find action items is also impressive. But other features of the AI are not really making use of data analytics, and it may not be a great option when your documents contain numerous equations, tables and analytics-worthy information.

Therefore, if you are looking for an AI assistant with the best skills for data analytics, you would have to go for Notion AI.

Notion AI vs. ClickUp AI: pricing & value

Both Notion AI and ClickUp AI are available as add-ons to the current plan that you have for the respective platforms.

For Notion AI, you will have to pay $8 per month for the AI extension, and it can be added only to premium plans. Therefore, the practical amount you’ll have to pay for a Notion AI-enabled workspace will be around $16 per month.

ClickUp AI, for that matter, is available for a monthly price of $5. Once again, you need a paid ClickUp plan to add this function to the package. So, you can pay a total of $12 per month to have an AI-powered ClickUp workspace.

While we think that both these plans offer satisfactory value, the lower price of ClickUp AI should be noticed. Considering that ClickUp AI comes with many features that help you better organize the content and access information, we would say ClickUp AI is the more affordable plan.

Notion AI vs. ClickUp AI: which to choose?

After comparing Notion AI and ClickUp AI based on factors like data analytic skills, writing assistance options, task management and, of course, integration, we have some recommendations on who should get what.

If you are looking for an all-in-one AI package for your workspace, we think you’re better off with Notion. It comes with all the features you would expect for writing assistance, brainstorming, and a very preliminary level of data analytics. You can also benefit from the multiple AI-powered templates available on Notion, as they can save a lot of time.

On the other hand, if you need an AI assistant that can do many things, you are better off with ClickUp AI. This AI tool can offer pre-built tools for different departments. The increasing collection of templates and improvement in the integration aspect is also welcome. But then again, you would miss out on some features like data analytics. But that loss is something that you should expect when you are paying relatively less per month.
